For me, in my final year, making friends with them was a good moment but the higher point was that I became really good friends with them such as Tina, Shirely (阿姨) and Maggie (小朋友) I never expected to like one of them for a while esp when we are doing different course and dont see much of each other only the weekend. I also never expected that I would be close to two of them and lived with them when I moved to Birmignahm after I grad. When Tina was the first one to leave for China, it was bareable but for Amy to leave so soon afterwards after I moved to Birmingham and living with her. It broke my heart and made me think about moving back home. Luckily for my sister (Ying) and my brother would be still here. Knowing Amy for a year was one of my best time in the final year of uni as we shared many good times together esp the times when we lived together. Elaine left just before christmas but came back to uk for a while. Now she left back to China last night. Though I know here for a short period of time, we still had many funny moments together. The most important girl in my life that I met in final year was Ying (家姐). When I first met her, I didnt think that we would become really close and that I would consider as my older sister. Coming back from Germany on a business trip two weeks ago, my sister told me the news that I been dreading to hear that she would be leaving back to China in 3 weeks time. When i heard the news, my heart sudden broke. With Amy already left, my heart was already broken but for my sister to leave, it made my heart and spirit crush to hear that she would be leaving. To make it worse, I found out that I would be going to Germanz again for a business trip the day before she leaves which meant I couldnt see her off to the airport. I didnt see Amy off when she left as I had to work and I knew I couldnt do it esp she was the girl I liked for a while. Now I cant see my sister off to the airport, my heart was crushed for not be able to do that. When I come back from Germany, my sister wont be there to greet me which will leave a big hole in my heart. Knowing Ying has been just over a year and we had many fun times together, going to London, Oxford and Cardiff. Living with her made my life worthwhile when moving to Birmingham Without her, Amy and my brother, I wouldnt have consider to moved to Birmingham and get a job. Now with one of them leaving one by one, it making me wonder how long I can last without them esp my sister not being by myself supporting me anyone and comfort me when I´m sad. Now I´m off to Germany and I cant see her off to the airport and when I come back from my trip I woont be able to see her ever again which breaks my heart. 唐莹, 家姐 我会想念你. I´m so happy that I met you and consider you as my beloved sister. Wherever you are, I will always treasure you and you will always be in my heart. I love you, 家姐! January 01 New Years' Resolution Wow..2008 has gone passed. What a year. Meet many new people and now I'm graduated. I guess 2008 has the most up and downs I ever had. Liked a girl more than I thought I would and did things I didnt expect because of my friends. Now its 2009 which means new resolutions which I will try to complete. So here is my list of resolutions:
May 13 Final Year Exams Has Started!! Argghh!!Just had my first exam yesteday which was Data Mining. I thought I was prepare for the exam but when I walked into the exam, I forgot everything and it was much harder than expected. Seems like I wasnt prepare for it. Now all I got to prepare for the next exams and have to ace it in order to make up for the poor marks early of the year.
Seems like the 3rd Year has gone so quick and funny thing I been hanging around with first and second years rarely people who is in my year group. These first years making me feel wish that I was in the first year again. Had a really busy Easter, doing my final year report and 2 essays on the Project Management which took a lot of my time, but it didnt stop me going to Oxford with my sister and brother which was a fun day to be with them. Before the Easter, I had final dinner with the fecx committee which was pretty fun. We went for dinner then with to Vikki's place to have some dessert and the next thing we know we were taking lots of random group pictures which all end up really fun. We only manage to take two sensible pictures. The first one is one of my favourite pictures of the committee. It looks soo family and look at the santa who looks really professional about the picture!
When the third and final semster of my uni life, I went to a chinese party with my sister and brother along with good friends, Amy and Shirley which was a pretty good night as I was in a different group from usual.
Wow third year has def gone so quick esp the last month, I never had soo much fun in my third year esp hanging around with my sister, brother and Amy. I always have a great time with them and have a great laugh.
Anyways I must get back to my revision as got to prepare for my final 4 exams which is next week which I need to do well to make up for the exam yesterday which properly was the hardest exam I hav ever taken. I must get a 2:1 to be able to stay Birmingham for one more year to do the Master and spend one more year with my friends I thought I will never have. Good luck for those have exams!! I kno you can do it!
March 13 3rd Year has almost ended! Wow the end of 3rd yr 2nd Semster has almost ended but really been busying doing the final yr project. Should be doing it at the moment but just writing a blog which since a while when i last written an entry. this prob will be a brief entry but hav a full entry as soon i finish my project. All i can say that my life is a mess..arrghh!! June 26 Second Yr has ended :'(Done exams and got the results on fri which was not good as I hav to come back in August to retake them. Wahaa!! Took my girlfriend to the airport who really love. Miss her like mad! Started to cry when I was waiting for the train to go home. Dont believe that I actually cried..first time i actually to start to miss someone. Never felt like this in the first yr. Feel soo lonely here cos I spent the past month with her. Took her ice skating (which she loves) three times before she went back to china yesterday. Also took her to clubbing for the first time going together. Also Alton Towers which I kinda organised just for her.
I really miss her and feel soo lonely without her. Trying to do something to make time fly as not going home till end of the month, so been packing stuff and trying to do revision for the resits in the summer. 3 months without is going to be a long time, 1st time having a girlfriend and already missing her like mad. Friends says thats normal but I dunno cos I never actually cried when not seeing for few months. Maybe I'm really in love with her. Got soo many pictures of her so I can look at her when I really miss her tho its not as good looking at her real life, Unbelievable that some songs I listen to now starting to make cry a bit cos it has some link to her. Had a great time going Alton Towers with friends and her. So much fun, went on many of the rides which was fun. Manage to get one of my friend to overcome his fear of rollercoaster cos it was quite funny after he went on one ride and he couldnt stop going all the rides. A very tiring day but it was a great day as it was nice to organise a big trip for friends. Went to my soceity ball which I helped organised which the event was good. Took loads of pictures and had an enjoyable night. Was a great night out and was very tired that day so stayed at my friends place. So funny after the exams...my housemates didnt see much of me cos I was at my girlfriend place most of the time cos wanted to spent as much time with her. Made muffins and cookies with her and tried her cooking as well cooking for her which was interesting as we taste each other cooking tho I say hers is the best and already miss it. Went to Manchester United football ground, Old Trafford on saturday the day before my girlfriend went back home. Went with her and my friend from home. It was quite a nice visit cos I dont like Man Utd and went to their stadium to look around. It was like wow! Never been inside a football stadium and it was quite nice. Took a lot of pictures of the stadium. Wouldnt mind going to the Baracelona Stadium cos I heard it was as big as this one. Rung one of my friend who is a Man Utd supporter and teased him that I went there and found out a surpise information which was that he went to Spurs Football ground which I always wanted to go but he never been to Old Trafford. Which meant that I was via versa. Saw Pirates of the Caribbean and Fantastic Four 2 both with Christine (haiyue) cos she wanted to see them. Pirates was good think it was better than the 2d but not the first. Fantastic 2 was good but I cant compare it to the first one cos I havent seen it yet. Long entry eh? Thats the problem of not writing to often. Second year has gone past and time has flew soo quick! Many things I have regret, one is def not getting to kno my girlfriend early in the first semster in the second year. Already thinking about her and listening to a song which she likes and making me think about the past. Got to find a way to tell my parents! Still havent told them. Dunno how tho, but I do kno that I really love her. October 08 Gillian Chung Gives Out Her 'First On-Screen Kiss' In Commercial
|      Being loved by all parents and children, Twins were filming a short advertising clip for 'Neway Karaoke' regarding 'One Million Karaoke Points'. They have invited the popular infant, Matthew, to be the male lead in the clip. The story will be talking about Twins trying every trick up their sleeves to steal Matthew's karaoke points. On and off screen, Twins still have think of everything they could to get Matthew's attention. When Charlene Choi saw Matthew, she immediately offered him toys and candy; she also hid behind the camera to make him look at the camera. Charlene was delighted when Matthew called her, "Jie Jie" (Big Sister). Gillian Chung also used her 'ultimate method' of giving him a kiss. Matthew is so fortunate, and he even puckered up his lips to accept the kiss! Afterwards, Gillian joked, "This is my first on-screen kiss in a commercial! It's really hard to work with infants on-screen; it's even harder than filming action films!" In opposite, Charlene boasted that she knows 'baby talk', and she is born to be an expert of taking care of children. She has once silenced a baby who had been crying for two hours by dancing a self-composed dance. Having very sharp features, Gillian revealed, "When I was young, I used to hope that my mother would suddenly tell me the 'huge origin secret' that I am a mixed child, but I waited for twenty some years, and there is no secret. I guess I'm just being delusional!!" Hilarious! Gillian then expressed that she wouldn't mind getting married to someone who is mixed in the future, but Charlene expressed the complete opposite and announced that she will only marry full Asian men. September 25 Twins: We will stay together! Twins have already worked together for 6 years, which they went through many challenges and changes, but their relationship still remains the same. Although EEG always wanted them to seperate, they still made their final decision and stay together. Both of them are more than just best friend, they even said: "Our relationship is even stronger than Brokeback Mountain!" September 13 Rainie Yang and Mike He, out for “Exchange Love”, Boyband member and Filipina actress take their place. It had been made official that the supposed reconciliation series for tandem Mike He and Rainie Yang will push through with one major setback; they will be replaced by other actors. Rainie’s talent agency, SMars expressed that Rainie really wanted to go on with the project yet her schedule and career path does not actually complement the project especially that they are currently training her for a change of image for her next album which would tackle her intense terpsichorean skills. But they had also acknowledged is the offer for her to be one of F4’s leading ladies in the drama to star the phenomenal group wherein she would be paired to Vic Zhou in particular. The company of Mike He also sent out a statement that he turned down the project as well to focus on another drama he is set to do as well for a movie and his planned TVB debut in Hong Kong. Both parties also claimed that the possible sequel to their hit drama The Devil Beside You is now almost non-existent due to the busy timetables and packed schedules the two idols are having. The drama will push through due to the intense fondness of Producer Chai Ji Ping to the script, it had only been revised to take place in a college setting with much younger actors to play the characters which have been rewritten to be students. For the replacement of Mike, it has been said that Yan Ya Lun(?) from boy band Fei Lun Ha (Fahrenheit?) is set to take over the role Mike He has left behind and the production is eyeing for Philippina teen actress Maja Salvador (?) to play the role of the naïve foreign exchange student. August 21 Will Charmaine Ever Think Of Getting Married Charmaine Sheh was dressed as a Chinese bride yesterday as she took part in a promotional event for a bedding showroom in Mongkok's Pioneer Centre. Also at the event were lion dancers, which attracted a large crowd in a great atmosphere. When Charmaine arrived on a sedan chair, the nephew of the company's chairman Mr Choi played the part of the groom in welcoming her, before posing for photos with her for the press on the bed. Charmaine was happy to have experienced the chinese wedding carriage and believes that in real life, it will be very difficult to have a wedding ceremony on this scale. She says that her ideal wedding ceremony is a little simpler, but she will still satisfy her vanity by having the Chinese and Western ceremony with all the dresses, especially the Chinese dress with the golden pig charm as this is a special feeling that she would like to try. Asked when she plans to get married, Charmaine says openly that she had thought about getting married at 27 , but now she is already 31 and she has still not confirmed her love, so she will not put a date on her own wedding. However, she would like to have children when she is married because she loves kids and smiles that she would like eleven to make a footbal team. She feels she will have to sacrifice her career when this time comes to look after her children. She is in no hurry though at the moment as she is concentrating on continuing her career. Charmaine is in no rush to get married, but her grandmother is pusing her to get married, with Charmaine telling her that she has to make more money first. When asked if she had found her ideal man yet, she indicated that she is still looking, because a husband is for life and she would like to find a good one. Asked if current boyfriend Benny Chan is not good enough, Charmaine insists that she is single. So what is her criteria? She indicates that she is looking for someone with a kind and filial heart and the most important thing is that he must love children. So does Benny like children? Charmaine change the subject and evaded the question. Asked what her previous boyfriends have lacked? She says that she lacked time to spend understanding them because her work comes first and she does not have time to think about dating. With the earlier reports that she was out partying late with Joe Ma, Charmaine explains that they were out celebrating a friend's birthday that night and she only met Joe when she arrived and did not know that he would be there. Twins Hold Concert in Malaysia, Kenny as Guest Performer Hong Kong’s popular duo, Twins, held a concert in Malaysia on the 18th and yesterday, with Kenny Kwan as the guest performer. Gillian Chung and Charlene Choi said hello to their fans using ‘fobby’ Malay, making the crowd reply in laughter. A lucky fan was also able to get on stage to sing ‘下一站……天后’. Kenny, performing at the Arena of the Stars, for the first time, was greeted warmly by the audience, with many female fans crying out that he was cute and handsome. June 18 Twins Hope to Be Sponsored Houses and Cars Twins yesterday attended a promotional event and handed out airfares as prizes. During the function, Gillian Chung and Charlene Choi were presented with a limited edition luggage bag by Cathy Pacific. The two were also given the card of an executive of Cathy Pacific. Twins then jokingly said that this may be handy when they need a free upgrade when travelling on Cathy Pacific airlines. Using touring the world as their theme of their latest album has led them into being sponsored by Cathy Pacific, an airline. Twins then humorously stated that their next theme may be houses or cars, hoping that they will me sponsored by similar companies. May 11 Charlene's Chest is Flat Like an Airport, Gillian Has Nice Body Twins earlier attended a promotion event for OKWAP’s latest range of mobile phones. Gillian Chung and Charlene disclosed that they were mobile phone fanatics who enjoyed playing games on their phones. The two also revealed that when they see nice views, they will take photos, using their phones, so that they will be able to keep it as a memory. But the two mega stars objected to taking private photos with their phone in case the pictures leaked into the public. Charlene has lost weight recently and had her chest described as ‘flat like an airport’. Regarding this, Charlene expressed that her body structure has never been good and that her chest has always been small. But she then went on to praise her working partner, Gillian, by saying that Gillian owned a good body. Charlene then joked that if she was to make her chest bigger, no one would recognise her. May 07 Twins Ready to Fly High, Releasing New Mandarin Album in June Twins last year released their first mandarin album ‘Trainee Cupid’ broke through the selling benchmark of 800 000 in Asia. After a year of not releasing a Mandarin album, Charlene Choi and Gillian Chung will be delivering an all new Mandarin album ‘80塊環遊世界’ to break into the Taiwanese market again. Earlier, Twins took time off their busy schedule and flew to Taiwan to pose for the promotional pictures. To make everything perfect, Twins readied many different accessories to go with their clothes. Leaving the ‘high school girl student’ look, Twins opted for this summer’s latest fashion. Charlene and Gillian posed in hats, belts and other pretty accessories.  Maybe I am but for some reason I'm getting all jealous with other people who got boyfriends/girlfriends. Well I'm not fussing for a girlfriend. Maybe I just want a girlfriend cos I like to care for someone and want to find out whats its like to be in a relationship. *sigh* oh well, my main prioty has to get my degree a 2:1 at min.

When the issue of Gillian’s picture appearing on brothel lamps of Japan which attracted many costumers was brought up, Gillian laughed and said, “Wow, they look up to me very much!” When asked what would she do if she went to Japan and saw the lamps in brothels, Gillian expressed that she will not throw a tantrum because passer-by’s will probably think she a prostitute. Gillian also said that she will not visit the place because of curiosity. When questioned if she will sue to the brothel, at first, Gillian said that it was hard to. But after hearing about Cecilia receiving compensation of millions of dollars after suing an organisation for using her name for advertisement, Gillian immediately said that she will sue the brothel. After hearing what Gillian was going to do, Charlene said, “Can I have half of the compensation?” To this, Gillian said that if she did win the case, she will invite Charlene for dinner. March 27 Gillian Chung Relieved By Fans During Solo Performance At Eastern Awards Twins have received an award of the Chinese Musical Industry Top Five at the 13th Eastern Awards. Because Charlene Choi is busy in Thailand filming a movie, she could not attend. Therefore, Gillian Chung arrived in ShangHai alone to attend this awards ceremony. Gillian appeared to be a bit nervous, but her fans there were very supportive of her, so she had gotten to be more relaxed when performing "Starlight Amusement Park". The 13th Eastern Awards took place two nights ago; representing Hong Kong, Twins took home the Chinese Musical Industry Top Five award. Last year, this award went to Twins' senior, Joey Yung, and Eason Chan had received it the year before that. This year's Chinese Musical Industry Top Five are Hong Kong - Twins, Singapore - JJ Lin, Malaysia - Michael Wong, Taiwan - Leehom Wang, and Mainland - Chen Lin. The most popular male and female singers are Li Quan and Zhao Wei, and Zhao Wei also received a Top Ten Songs award with "Wo He Xiang Guan Yian". Because Charlene is in Thailand, Gillian had to come to ShangHai alone. This is Gillian's first time coming to Mainland and singing "Starlight Amusement Park" solo, so she was quite nervous. But as soon as she began singing, her fans showed great signs of support towards her; Gillian was very happy to see that, and she gained confidence during her solo performance immediately. Lucy Liu Returns to China for AIDS FilmLucy Liu is returning to her Chinese roots for a harrowing new movie about the world AIDS epidemic. The Charlie's Angels star will appear in the Chinese language segment of new film 3 Needles, and admits it's one of the most important movies she has ever made. She explains, "The portion that we shot is representing China so everything is in subtitles. There's an African portion and a portion shot in Montreal about the porn industry and Aids." The film has already been well received at a series of high profile screenings, and Liu hopes it will help young film fans around the world have a better understanding of the killer disease. She adds, "A lot of people in China and Africa don't know that they have AIDS. They know they don't feel well and are sick and even if they do know they might not have the ability to get the medication for that. "When it comes to things as vital as AIDS and when you've been to Africa and China it's really important to get the facts of what it can do and how it changes your life completely." March 24 Eason and Hilary: The Official Wedding, Eason and Hilary: The Official Wedding Yesterday, Eason Chan and Hilary Tsui official got married at a small ceremony which featured about 100 family members and friends. At this wedding Hilary wore an antique like wedding gown and daughter Constance was the flower girl. Hilary Tsui  Eason Chan Alex Fong Goes From Kiss to Bed Scene With Pace Wu Stephy Tang and Alex Fong has always been rumored together and now has to act as a couple. On their new movie, Marriage With a Fool, Alex has his first big screen kiss, but his partner is not Stephy but rather a new 'sexy goddess' Pace Wu. Alex also reminds the audience to arrive at the theater early because there will be an intimate bed scene in the beginning. In the movie, Alex and his wife Stephy always have arguements, therefore easily having opportunities of a third party. In one scene, it narrates that Alex was mad and went to Pace's house to drink all of the wine because of sorrow. At the end, Alex's gives off his kiss in her house and has a bed scene with Pace. He even bravely takes off her clothes and reveals his own muscular chest. March 11 Twins, Ambassadors for Xbox 360 Twins’ young and energetic image has caused them to become Hong Kong’s ambassador for ‘Xbox 360’. Gillian Chung and Charlene Choi received a seven number amount for working on this ad and could play games as much as they wanted. The advertisement company have planned to promote greatly and so, they have released a limited Twins edition of the Xbox. Twins, Kenny Kwan and Yumiko Cheng worked on the design of this limited edition and all proceeds made from the selling of this edition of Xbox will go to charity. On the 16th of March a ‘Xbox 360 First Generation King Party’ will be held. Twins and all their fans will be competing in this competition. Although Twins enjoy playing video games they will not be obsessed with it. They will usually play when they are waiting for their turn when filming or when working overseas, they will play video games in the hotel to relax. |
